I heard the RJ Corman is buying a QJ 2-10-2 from china. This is 1 of 3 in the USA today. Its supposed to run from Lexington,KY to Louisville,KY. I have no further info right now!

Yes, With all the cost of gas I think we will start to see more Steam locos, probably from China (made steamers through late 80s) and Cuba (still has a ton of steam engines)

Wouldn't you mean they are buying it from the Iowa Interstate railroad? They already have 2 QJ 2-10-2 steamers in storage. I would think they are for sale and the RJ Corman railroad is buying 1 of them.
If you look in your Trains Mag a few months ago it has pictures of the runs they made and it even says they are in storage and for sale now.
But this is gonna be SWEET!!!!!

The QJ has just arrived in Lexington and per rjcorman will be operational in about 7 weeks.
Can't wait to drive over to their yard and see it.
