I hope you all know that this was the original NS before it merged or got so called (tucked under) The Southern Railroad's bed for the time being. The NS Actually was chartered in 1881 in Norfolk Virginia. It was placed in Southern's pocket in 1974. In 1982 it was pulled out and Rechartered. Even now the new NS still owns it's old line. I remember seeing a photogaph of a train labled NS with the diffrent paint, but I though that was the actuall NS just after the merger
